Rain puts paid to England-India women's finale

25 Aug, 2014

LONDON: Rain saw the third and final women's one-day international between England and India at Lord's on Monday washed out without a ball bowled.

The no result meant England took the three-match series 2-0 after winning both the two ODIs played in the northern coastal town of Scarborough.

England next face South Africa in the first of three Twenty20 internationals at county side Essex's headquarters in Chelmsford, east of London, a week on Monday.
