KARACHI: Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will hold its meeting to witness moon for the next Islamic month of Ziqaad 1435 hijri at the office of Meteorological Department (Met Complex) here on Tuesday.

Abdur Razaq Naqshbandi, the assistant to Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of the country in a statement on Monday invited public in general to be part of the exercise and communicate reliable information relevant to moon sighting in accordance to sharia.

Any information about sighting of moon could be communicated via phone numbers 021-99261434, 0300-9285203, 0321 - 2880864 and 0321- 2484604.

The central Ruet-e-hilal committee, headed by Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman will hold their meeting after the prayers of Asr and will make use of updated gadgets for the purpose, besides collecting reliable information provided by eye witnesses from amongst the people.
