CADD announces third time extension in vacations till August 31

ISLAMABAD: Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has announced third time extension in the summer vacations for the students till August 31 due to the prolonged sit-in of Azadi and Inqalab Marchers.

An official of CADD informed APP, the schools and colleges in federal capital were supposed to open from August 25 (Monday) but now these would open from September 1.

However, the decision to extend vacations has been taken by the authorities again to save the students from any untoward incident due to march.

The decision of further extending summer vacations has been taken for the third time consecutively due to the sit-ins of Azadi and Inqalab marchers.

Earlier, the institutions were supposed to open from August 11 (Monday) after summer vacations but the authorities announced more holidays till August, 17 (Sunday).

And now the authorities announced more vacations till August 31 (Sunday) due to the prolonged sit-ins of marchers and now the students would resume their study from September 1 (Monday).
