PESHAWAR: Provincial president of ANP and former chief minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that PTI chief Imran Khan was in search of lame excuses in order to get rid of his government in the KPK which utterly failed to deliver to the expectations of the people.

Talking to a delegation of PK-26 at his residence in Mardan today, he said, the people's expectations from the PTI government of bringing change has started dying down and now the people were fed up with their hollow slogans and false promises.

However he urged the PTI leadership to fulfil their promises in accordance with the 'awami' mandate instead of looking for ways to run away.

He said it is time to unite under the red flag of ANP, adding he said he did not want to condemn anyone, however time will prove who real savoir of the Pakhtoon nation was.

He recalled that late Khan Abdul Wali Khan in his life had appointed Asfandyar Wali Khan his successor and the ANP was flourishing under his able leadership day by day. We have not achieved yet our destination for which our forefathers had laid down their lives.

The former CM said that the ANP Government gave real identity to the province by renaming it as KPK, NFC Award and established mega educational institutions. The PTI government in its 18 month government has not started a single project worth the name.
