Indonesia's June tourist arrivals rise 7.84pc y/y

JAKARTA, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Indonesia's foreign tourist arrivals in June rose 7.84 percent from a year earlier, quickening from May's 7.37 percent increase, the statistics bureau said on Monday.

The data showed 851,500 tourists visited the country in June, compared with 752,400 the previous month.

The G20 economy attracts fewer tourists than many other nations in the region, and an increase in service industries would help the country's capital-account balance, as well as economic growth.
