KARACHI: Bollywood leading actress Kareena Kapoor has rejected big banner movies which results into a highest grossing movie of all time including Ram Leela and Queen.

Reportedly, actress rejected two big movies of Dharma Productions including ‘Shuddhi’ opposite to bollywood Star Salman Khan. Zoya Akhtar upcoming movie ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ has also been offered to ‘Heroine’ but she rejected it due to ensemble casting.

Akhtar’s movie comprises of six leading actors including Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Rahul Bose which looks promising.

According to Indian media Kapoor said in an interview, “It’s my loss because I love Zoya, but couldn’t be part of her film. I am dying to work with her. Inshallah, this isn’t the last film she is going to make, and it’s not the last film that I’m not able to do. There’s life ahead. Whenever she has a role for me, I’ll definitely do it”.

“I think I have said no to six movies because I don’t want to do anything that’s not great. If I don’t want to be a part of a film, I am happy not to do it. I’d rather chill at home and read a book, or do something else and that’s a policy that I will stick to. Let people say, do or write what they want to. Like Saif says, Put your head down and don’t do what you don’t like. And after 15 years in the industry, I am sure I have the right to do that,” media reported.
