GAZA CITY: Five Palestinians were killed on Sunday in two Israeli air strikes on southern Gaza, the emergency services said.

Three were killed in the city of Khan Yunis and another two were killed in Rafah, which straddles the border with Egypt, emergency services spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said, taking Sunday's death toll to 50.
