Exactly 45 gastro cases were brought to Nishtar Medical Institute while 97 patients were admitted at Children Complex. Three patients reported at Civil Hospital while eight landed at Fatima Jinnah Hospital for Women, said an official source.
Meanwhile, as many as 58 patients were discharged while no Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD) case was reported Friday, the source added.
It is pertinent to mention here that on Monday 174 gastro patients reported at different public hospitals; on Tuesday a total of 204 acute diarrhoea (gastro) cases were reported, on Wednesday 164 and on Thursday 214 patients landed at public hospitals of the city.
