KARACHI: Karachi police and CIA in their ongoing drive against criminals have arrested 80 alleged criminals during last 24 hours from different parts of the metropolis.

During 79 raids and 12 encounters, police arrested extortionists, absconders, terrorists, drug peddlers, robbers and others for their alleged involvement in various crimes, said a statement issued here on Thursday.

Police also recovered drugs and different types of arms and ammunition from the possession of arrested accused.
