Parliament best forum to discuss national issues: Irfan

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on National Affairs Irfan Siddique, on Wednesday said that Parliament was the best forum to discuss national issues.

He said that protest was the right of any citizen under the democratic system.

He said that discussing non issues on roads with public gathering would not help improve the system.

Irfan Saddiqui said that a committee would be constituted to bring electoral reforms.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said that Chairman of the Committee would be selected from the political parties in consultation with Opposition.

To a question, he said that the government and Taliban have constituted committees to continue dialogue process for peace.

Advisor to Prime Minister said that talks for peace would help flush out the elements spreading terrorism in the country.
