Govt to spend huge amount on infrastructure development: Dr Musadaq

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Energy, Dr Musadaq Malik has said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), government will spend huge amount on infrastructure development to provide easy access to the people for increasing business activity.

He said that allocated amount in the budget would be utilized for the progress and development of the country.

Hailing the budget allocation for completing the public welfare projects, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government had given a balanced budget in the present circumstances to achieve progress in all sectors.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that industrial sector was provided smooth flow of electricity to achieve production targets.

He said that several power projects would be completed in near future to resolve the problem of loadshedding in the country.

Dr Musadaq said that PML-N government was taking all important steps to bring improvement in the energy sector.

To a question he said that PML-N government is spending huge amount on the road networks linking Gawador and Khunjrab so that the people living in these areas could develop their businesses in a proper manner. He said that road infrastructure would help provide a smooth connectivity to the people of remote and far flung areas

He said that present government under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was fully committed to resolve the issues and for this, measures were being taken to achieve the objectives.

To another question he said that the government had evolved a mechanism to expand the tax net across the country.
