Indonesia trade surplus seen narrowing, inflation to ease

JAKARTA: Indonesia's trade surplus likely narrowed in March as exports remained weak, while the annual inflation rate probably eased further in April, a Reuters poll showed.

The median forecast from 11 analysts was for a trade surplus of $500 million in March, against a $790 million surplus in the previous month.

Analysts see annual inflation easing to 7.25 percent in April from 7.32 percent in March, though they see the core inflation rate quickening slightly to 4.67 percent.
