CM condemns Charsadda blast, attack on police

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak Tuesday strongly condemned bomb attack on police van in Charsadda district and killing of policemen in Badabair on Monday night.

He expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in these inhuman incidents.

The Chief Minister directed Provincial Minister for Health Shahram Tarkai, elected representatives of the area besides Police high ups to immediately rush to hospitals to enquire about health of victims and directed doctors to ensure best medical facilities to patients.

The CM also directed enforcement of emergency in Charsadda and Peshawar hospitals after the Charsadda blast.

Expressing deep concerns over recent terrorism incidents in Charsadda and Badabair, he directed the Police and Civil administration to change present security strategy and ensure protection of life and properties of people.

He also directed immediate compensation payment to heirs of martyrs and injured of Charssada and Badabair gory incidents.

He prayed to the Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and for early recovery of the injured.
