Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Durrani, Chief of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ejaz Khan and other senior officers of police department attended the funeral prayers of the policemen.
Assistant Sub Inspector Aslam Khan, constables Liaqat, Zakir, Fazal Subhan and Nazir Muhammad were killed when unknown gunmen ambushed their vehicle in the limits of Badabair Police Station late Monday night.
Their bodies were shifted to native villages for burial.
