Sindh implementing educational projects worth Rs37bn

ISLAMABAD: Over 150 schemes costing an amount of over Rs.37 billion were being implemented across the Sindh education sector.

The schemes were aimed at enhancing girls' enrolment, reopening closed schools, improving standard of the education and ensuring basic amenities at the educational institutions in the province, Radio Pakistan reported.

Also, Over 900 primary schools were being upgraded to middle school. Girls' enrolment is being enhanced by reopening 400 closed schools through rural support programme.

Computer education has also been included in middle schools in the province.
