PCG seizes 420kg hashish

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized large quantity of fine quality Hashish from general area Tusak near Pasni (Balochistan).

According to a press release issued here on Monday, PCG officials received credible information from intelligence sources about smuggling of Hashish from general area Tusak, Pasni.

A seizure was carried out by PCG Special Mobile Patrol last night.

During search operation in suspected area, smugglers opened fire on Coast Guards patrolling team after exchange of fire, smugglers managed to flee away from the scene taking advantage of the darkness.

During search, Pakistan Coast Guards officials recovered 420 kilograms of fine quality of Hashish dumped in Mountains.

Approx value of the Hashish in international market is Rs. 618 Millions. Further investigation and legal process is under way.
