CM inaugurates hospital, colony

MUZAFFARGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated Tayyip Erdogan Modern Hospital and Turk Colony for affectees of floods.

The hospital is a gift of the Turkish masses ti Pakistanis, The hospital spreads over 18 kanals and was constructed in two years.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the hospital would provide best treatment facilities to people of South Punjab. He said that it was a matchless gift of the Turkish people to Pakistanis.

Recalling the devastation of floods in 2010, Shahbaz Sharif observed that it was a big calamity as it had damaged the economy of the province.

He added that the international community especially the Turkish government and people extend great help to the flood- stricken people.

The chief minister also inaugurated the Turkish colony and stated it would provide shelter to homeless people.

Turkish officials, divisional administration and local parliamentarians were also present.
