Met Office forecasts dry weather in most parts of country

PESHAWAR: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Gujranwala, Malakand and Hazara divisions, while at one or two places in Lahore divisions.

According to Pakistan Metrological Department weather report on Monday rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in south Punjab during last 24 hours.

Highest rain of 46 MM was recorded in Dir Upper followed by 45MM rain in Dir Lower. Similarly, 34 MM rain was recorded in Parachinar, Risalpur=30, Rawalakot=24, Pattan=24, Kalam=23, Kotli=23, Peshawar City=22, Noorpur Thal=19, Joharabad=19, Saidu Sharif=18, Mangla=18, Bannu=17, Astore=16, Malamjaba=15, Kakul=14, Chakwal=14, Jhelum=14.2, Chitral=13, Balakot=13, Peshawar A/P=13, Garhi Dupatta=12, Drosh=12, Mirkhani=11, Gupis=09, Mandibahaudin=09, Gujrat=09, Sialkot Cantt=09, Skardu=07, Mianwali=07, Sialkot A/P=06, Kohat=05, Gujranwala=04, Bhakkar=04, D.I.Khan=03, Cherat=03, Murree=03, Multan=02, Islamabad Z.P=02, Rawalpindi=02, Bahawalpur City=02, Jhang=02, Bunji=01, Khanpur=01, Muzaffarabad=01, Rahim Yar Khan=01 and Toba Tek Singh=01.
