Met Office predicts rain for KP, Upper Punjab, Kashmir: Met Office

PESHAWAR: The Met Office Monday predicted rain-thunderstorm at scattered places of Khyber Pakthunkhwa, North Balochistan, Islamabad, Upper/Central Punjab and Kashmir during next 48 hours.

According to Met Office, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however, rain-thunderstorm is expected at scattered places of KP, north Balochistan, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab and Kashmir during Tuesday evening/night and Wednesday.

In next 24 hours, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with no prediction of rain.

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country in last 24 hours as no reports of rain received. The minimum temperature recorded at Astore and Kalam -02 while pollen count yesterday remained 16,164 per m3 of air.
