Pakistan beat Bangladesh in World T20

DHAKA: Pakistan defeated hosts Bangladesh by 50 runs to stay on course for the semi-finals in the World Twenty20 in Dhaka on Sunday.

Pakistan, powered by Ahmed Shehzad's unbeaten 111 off 62 balls, piled up 190-5 and then restricted Bangladesh to 140-7 in a Super-10 group two match.

With both Bangladesh and Australia out of the race, the winner of Tuesday's last league match between Pakistan and the West Indies will join India in the semi-finals from the group.
