According to the Indian Express Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared his feelings about his late parents via Twitter.

His father Taj Mohammed died of cancer when Shah Rukh was only 15, while he lost mother Lateef Fatima at the age of 24.

SRK took to twitter to express his grief and said he wished they could have stayed longer.

“Talking to boys on the sets…we talked of our parents. Miss my parents now on the drive back from the shoot. They went too early…,” Khan tweeted.

Khan is currently gearing up for his Diwali release ‘Happy New Year’, which also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah.

The film, being directed by Farah Khan, will be produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
