European stocks close up

LONDON: Europe's main stock market indices closed up on Tuesday as investors breathed a sigh of relief despite Russia annexing Crimea, with the London's FTSE 100 rising 0.56 percent to 6,605.28 points.

In Paris the CAC 40 climbed 0.97 percent to 4,313.26 points, while the Dax 30 in Frankfurt added 0.67 percent to 9,242.55 points.
