Pakistani trade delegation to visit Brazil

ISLAMABAD: A trade delegation of Pakistani Businessmen representing Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry will leave for Brazil on March 15th on a two weeks trip to explore the Brazilian market.

The FCCI Trade Delegation will be headed by Jamil Ahmad, Chairman International Affairs and Trade Delegation of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Commercial Advisor to the Embassy of Brazil in Pakistan.

This delegation finalised by President Eng. Sohail Bin Rasheed, comprises 21 businessmen from different sectors, like textiles, sugar, machinery, agriculture, poultry, paper & pulp, gems & jewellery, iron & steel, pharmaceuticals, food , IT, service sectors etc.

The Brazil, 7th largest economy in the world, is the largest trading partner of Pakistan in Latin America and Pakistan's exports to Brazil increased by more than 100% from 2009 to 2012, from 44 million US dollars to 92 million US dollars in 2012.

The Embassy of Brazil believes that this type of business delegation will enhance the bilateral trade and of the economic ties between the two countries.

Bringing the business communities of the two countries closer together will help strengthening the ties that link Brazil and Pakistan.
