ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday successfully paid 28th Instalment under the IMF-SBA facility amounting to SDR96 million equivalent US$149 million, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Spokesperson said.

In a statement issued by the Central Bank on Tuesday said that with repayment of the current instalment, Pakistan to-date has repaid to IMF SDRs4,385 million equivalent US$6,694 million since Jul-2011, of which SDR3,811 million equivalent US$5,809 million was under SBA facility.

He added that after the current repayment, remaining amount due under IMF-SBA until Sep-2015 is SDR1,125 million.
