Met Office predicts light rain for Hazara, Kashmir, GB

PESHAWAR: The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast light rain with light snowfall over the hills in Hazara, Gujranwali divisions, Gligit-Baltistan (GB) and Kashmir during next 24 hours.

According to Met Office, a westerly trough is affecting northern areas and mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.

However, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain (light snow over hills) is expected in Hazara, Gujranwala divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during next 24 hours.

In next 48 hours, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. The weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country in last 24 hours and no reports of rain was received from any parts of the country.

The minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam, Astore -13 C followed by Kalat -10 C, Hunza -07 C, Gupis -06 C, Drosh, Malamjabba, Dir, Skardu -05 C and Gilgit -04 C while pollen count today remained as 26 per m3 of air.
