Addressing the participants after distributing prizes to the winners of different competitions at District Sports Complex Narowal, he said the Punjab Youth Festival had invigorated new enthusiasm, sportsman spirit, encouragement, tolerance and good mental thoughts among the young generation.
The Minister said that the promotion of sports was vital to develop a healthy society by ensuring equal opportunities to the talented youths.
He said that the Punjab Chief Minister's Youth Festival Programme was of great significance to promote sports, games, extra-curriculum and other healthy activities in the country.
MPAs Rana Abdul Manan, Khawaja Waseem Butt, Narowal DCO Syed Najaf Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Behzad Adil, EDO (Health) Narowal Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Chatta, District Officer (Population Welfare) Narowal Ghafran Saqib Chopra and local PML-N leaders were also present.
