MELBOURNEL: England were dismissed for 179 to leave Australia 231 runs to win the fourth Ashes Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Kevin Pietersen topscored with 49 and spinner Nathan Lyon captured five wickets for 50.
