MELBOURNE: Australia were struggling at 164 for nine in reply to England's 255 at the close on the second day of the fourth Ashes Test in Melbourne on Friday.

At stumps, Brad Haddin was unbeaten on 43 with Peter Siddle caught in the day's final over for a duck.
