Corruption biggest hurdle in development: CM

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said corruption is the biggest hurdle in the process of development and collective efforts are needed to root out it.

In his message on World Anti-Corruption Day, the chief minister said impartial world institutions had also appreciated the efforts of the Punjab government for eradication of corruption and irregularities.

He said transparency and elimination of corruption was a hallmark of the Punjab government.

He said an example of good governance had been set by promoting transparency in the province.
