KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has given his assent to Sindh Local Government (Amendment) bill-2013 passed by Sindh Assembly on Oct 31, 2013 and other seven bills of the Assembly to make these as laws.

This was announced by Speaker of Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani while chairing the Assembly's session on Monday. These bills included The Sindh Local Government (Amendment ) Bill 2013, The Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Bill-2013, The Sindh Building Control ( Amendment) Bill 2013, The Sindh Newborn Screening Bill 2013, The Larkana Development Authority (Revival and Amending ) Bill 2013, The Sindh Mental Health Bill 2013, The Sindh Witness Protection Bill 2013, and The Sindh HIV and AIDS Control Treatment and Protection Bill 2013.
