PESHAWAR: The campaign to immunize children against the crippling polio disease continued for second consecutive day in FATA's area of Khyber Agency wherein about 124,000 children would be given anti-polio drops.

According to Khyber Agency's surgeon, Doctor Samin Shinwari the campaign was underway successfully and area people were completely cooperating with the immunization staff. He said a target of 124,000 children was set for immunization in the Agency.

Shinwari said that 391 teams have been constituted in the Agency for carrying out immunization campaign. However, he said in some parts of Tehsil Bara the campaign was suspended due to security concerns.
