Imran for ensuring transparency in governance

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Sunday stressed the need of ensuring transparency in governance to facilitate commoners in getting easy access to justice.

Talking to members of the Provincial Cabinet and Administrative Secretaries here at the Chief Minister Secretariat, Imran said the laws being formulated by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should not give space to the wrong doers.

He said the resources of the province must be spent on the poor and efforts should be made for their judicious use. He said that it was good to see the efforts of government for curbing corrupt practices.

He cautioned that corrupt elements would try to affect the efforts of government against malpractices, irregularities and illegal activities.

Imran Khan expressed satisfaction over the public welfare activities planned by the provincial government and advised to expedite development process in all social sectors.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Chief Secretary and PTI central Secretary General Jehangir Tareen were also present.
