PESHAWAR: A levy personnel sustained injures after he came under a bomb attack while escorting an anti-polio team at Mamund area of Bajaur Agency on Monday morning.

According to security officials here, an IED explosion, targeting an anti polio vaccination team, occurred at Mamund Bajaur Agency at 840 hours, resultantly, a levy constable sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.

The Khasadar Force rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The Khasadar Force have started search operation for arrest of the culprits.
