Nawaz vows to expose elements behind terrorist attacks

LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has questioned the hidden hand behind terrorism in the country when the Taliban disowned latest devastating blast in Peshawar. He said he would try to expose those elements on his return to Pakistan.

Talking to media after arriving in London from New York, the Prime Minister said that a strategy would be devised regarding Taliban after his return to Pakistan.

He said that he discussed various issues including Balochistan unrest and informed his Indian counterpart about Pakistan’s concerns. Indian prime minister’s allegation of Pakistan being the epicentre of terrorism was also talked about during discussion.

The premier said that he urged Manmohan Singh to resolve all the issues between Pakistan and India through talks, as peace was the only way forward for both the countries.

Nawaz Sharif said that he presented Pakistan’s principled viewpoint in the UN General Assembly.
