PTI to play active role of opposition in Parliament: Hashmi

ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central leader Javed Hashmi has said that his party would play an active role in Parliament as real opposition to strengthen the democratic process in the country.

Talking to reporters here, he said that PTI was largest political force in the country and its role would be a voice of masses.

Replying to a question, Hashmi said he always supported the democratic forces and it would challenge the elements, who were against it and his party was committed to uproot traditional and inherited political party system in the country under the leadership of Imran Khan.

To another question, he said the PTI would support the government over national issues adding it would never allow the ruling party to ignore the issues of people.

Javed Hashmi claimed that his party would turn old system of the country into a people-friendly system aimed at building a new Pakistan.

He said democracy was the only solution to resolve issues faced by the country, adding that PTI was a democratic force in the country and it would play active role for betterment of the country.
