CM Sindh's directive for early dispatch of relief goods to Balochistan

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has instructed the Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) for early dispatch of tents, relief goods, including food item and medicines for the victims of earth quake in Balochistan and also for providing medical treatment to the injured people who are admitted to hospitals in Karachi.

Sindh Chief Minister called the DG PDMA to CM House Karachi on Saturday and gave these instructions to him.

He also directed the DG PDMA to establish the relief collection points at all important places of Karachi as people of Karachi are anxious to help their Baloch brothers.

He directed him to remain in touch with industrialists and philanthropists and get their help for collecting relief goods.

The DG PDMA Salman Shah briefed the Chief Minister and said that a Relief Goods Collection Point has been established at Teen Talwar, Clifton Karachi where encouraging response of the people is reported.

He also said that total 38 injured people of earth quake in Balochistan have been brought to Karachi out of whom 20 injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital (CHK) and 18 to Jinnah Hospital Karachi.

He said that he himself has visited these patient and directed the doctors for providing prompt medical facilities to them.
