PM visits Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk; says Pak-Turkey together can achieve greater prosperity

ANKARA: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif laid floral wreath on the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, here on Tuesday.

In his remarks in the visitors’ book, the prime minister said, “It is a great honour for me to pay homage to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – the father of modern Turkey. Ataturk’s visionary statesmanship united the Turkish nation and chartered the course of modernity and progress. Ataturk is revered in Pakistan as a truly great visionary leader”.

He said the people of Pakistan have a special affinity for our Turkish brothers and we desire to strengthen our strategic partnership with Turkey.

He said he has no doubt that together they can achieve greater prosperity to realize our common destinies.
