Khurshid Shah condoles with COAS over Upper Dir incident

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the opposition in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah has said that entire nation is at the back of the Pakistan Army busy in war against terrorism.

He telephoned Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvaz Kayani from London and condoled with him the death of three army officials in Upper Dir landmine blast.

Syed Khurshid Shah said that Upper Dir incident is condemnable and who-so-ever involved would not be spared at any cost.

He said that terrorists through wicked and cowardly actions could not lower the morale of armed forces which were always ready to embrace martyrdom for the sake of country and to save the national frontiers.

The opposition leader in NA paid rich tributes to sacrifices rendered by Pakistan Army to root out terrorism for saving the precious lives.
