HARARE: Zimbabwe's consumer inflation quickened to 1.28 percent year-on-year in August from 1.25 percent in July, the national statistics agency said on Friday.

On a month-on-month basis, prices fell by 0.15 percent, after a 0.38 percent decline in July.
