A police statement on Friday said that those arrested included 35 absconders, proclaimed offenders and those allegedly involved in cases of murder, dacoity and other crimes.
It further stated that three illegal immigrants were also arrested.
In all, 19 weapons of various calibers were also recovered from their possession.
