The Inspector General of Police Sindh, Shahid Nadeem Baloch, and Additional IGP Traffic, Additional IGP Karachi, DIG HQ Sindh/ East/West/South Mirpurkhas, District SSPs, others Senior police officers and relatives of Shaheed DSP attended the funeral.
According to a spokesman of Sindh police, during the current year, 114 police officers/ personnel embraced martyrdom in Karachi.
They included two DSPs, two Inspectors, 10 SIs, 15 ASIs, 23 Head Constables and 62 Constables.
During the current year in Karachi, 151 police officers/personnel got injured during encounters with criminal elements and other incidents including one SP, one DSP, one Inspector, 16 SIs, 20 ASIs, 28 Head Constables and 84 constables.
