NA resolution condemns Indian aggression at LoC

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Tuesday passed a unanimous resolution condemning the unprovoked aggression by Indian military forces across the Line of Control in recent days.

The resolution condemned the attacks on Pakistani High Commission and demonstrations outside its premises in New Delhi.

The resolution said that Pakistan will continue to extend diplomatic‚ political and moral support to the legitimate struggle of Kashmiris for the realization of goal of self-determination as enshrined by UN Security Council resolutions.

Earlier‚ Initiating the debate Shaikh Rashid Ahmad said India is escalating tension on LoC under a well thought out conspiracy against Pakistan.

Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi said escalating tension between the two countries should be addressed through diplomatic channels.

Dr. Nafeesa Shah condemned the Indian aggression and appreciated Pakistani people for not getting provoked on the occasion.

The house will now meet Thursday morning at eleven.
