Hamid Khan to defend Imran Khan in SC

LAHORE: Advocate Hamid Khan will represent the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on account of contempt of court notice issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Imran Khan has been summoned to the court on account of criticizing the Election Commission and judiciary. Imran Khan has decided that Hamid Khan will defend him. Hamid Khan is not only senior leader of the PTI but also a former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association. He has returned from United States.

Earlier, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took notice on account of registrar Supreme Court and released contempt of court notice.

According to the Supreme Court, Imran Khan’s press conference against the judiciary and honorable judges is not acceptable.
