MOSCOW: Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil is to visit Moscow Monday for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign ministry announced on Friday.

The ministry did not give further details on the agenda for the talks, which come as Moscow and Washington seek to organise a peace conference between the regime and rebels to end Syria's civil war.
