City police caught eight unlicensed weapons carriers--including Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Akram, Faisal Abbas, Zohaib, Riaz, Shahzad, Zaffar and Nasir from the areas of Daulat Gate, Shah Shams, Qutab Pur and Basti Malook Police stations.
Police have recovered six pistols 30-bore and two revolvers 32-bore from their possession.
Lohari Gate, Qutab Pur, Qadar Pur Raan and Chehlyak police arrested four drug peddlers including Muhammad Hanif, Muhammad Zubair, Khizar Hayyat and Qalander Ali respectively. Police recovered 42 litres liquor and heroin from the possession of the accused. Separate case have been registered at concerned police stations.
