Kaira suggests dialogue for peace

ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Qamar Zaman Kaira on Wednesday said that dialogue was the only way for maintaining peace in the country.

Talks with Taliban through dialogue process would help to resolve the issues, adding there must be a clear policy before holding talks with Taliban.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the PPP would fully support to the positive steps of government beyond the traditional opposition's role in Parliament.

He said that PPP had been taken many big decisions in larger interest of the nation without having single majority in Parliament.

Kaira congratulated Imran Khan for oath taking and hoped that his party would be successful in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Replying to a question, he said drone attacks should be stopped as its were against the sovereignty of the country.
