RECORDER REPORT

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, senior central leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Moonis Elahi have strongly condemned the attack at the residence of Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Ziarat and said that this has deeply hurt the sentiments of every Pakistani.

They said that this is a national incident which cannot be tolerated by any Pakistani. They urged the federal and provincial governments that immediate effective steps should be taken for the protection of all buildings associated with the names of the Quaid-i-Azam and other national leaders. The PML leaders also expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow over explosions in the women university bus in Quetta and in the Emergence Department of Bolan Medical Complex and said that targeting innocent girl students of terrorism attack is highly regrettable.

PML Senator Mushahid Hussain termed the act of terrorism against the Ziarat Residency, where the Quaid-e-Azam spent his last days, as a 'serious security lapse' and an act of 'ideological terrorism', since it targeted an important national symbol related to the revered Founder of Pakistan and Father of the Nation.
