ISTANBUL: Turkey's manufacturing confidence index rose to 112.5 points in May from 112 points in April, the central bank said on Monday.
In December, the index fell below the 100-point mark, which separates optimism from pessimism, for the first time since December 2011 but has risen steadily above that level since January.
