German official raw trade surplus rises in March

FRANKFURT: Germany's trade surplus increased in March for the third month in a row, rising to 18.8 billion euros from 16.8 billion euros in February, unadjusted data from the federal statistics office showed on Friday.

But seasonal adjusted data showed that the trade surplus fell slightly to 17.6 billion euros ($23.0 billion) from 17.7 billion dollars in February.
