Comatose Sanaullah, 52, had died of multiple organ failure in Chandigarh hospital as he had suffered severe head injuries last week after being attacked by a fellow inmate.
Sanaullah's body had been flown back to Pakistan in his hometown, Sialkot, for funeral.
